Nassau County is a suburban county located on Long Island, New York. It has a population of approximately 1.3 million people and covers an area of 453 square miles.
Nassau County is home to a number of wealthy enclaves such as Great Neck, Garden City, and Manhasset. However, it also has a diverse population, with many middle-class and working-class neighborhoods.
The county seat of Nassau County is Mineola, and the largest city is the city of Long Beach. Other major municipalities in the county include Hempstead, Freeport, and Glen Cove.
