About Kennebec

Kennebec County is the fourth-most populous county in the state, with a population of approximately 121,000 people, and covers an area of 951 square miles. The county seat is located in the city of Augusta.

Kennebec County is home to a number of communities, including the cities of Augusta and Waterville, as well as several towns, such as Winslow, Oakland, and Hallowell.
